During his tenure as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County, Mr. Berman advanced from District Court to Circuit Court before being promoted to the Auto-Manslaughter Trial Team. He served as lead prosecutor for the Evaluation Review Docket, conducting competency and NCR hearings, screened DUI cases involving Drug Recognition Experts, Blood Kits, and Hospital Records, trained colleagues on DUI case law and issue spotting for serious traffic cases, and was appointed as a Special Prosecutor in Talbot County.
